New online gallery compelloart.com to focus on assisting students and emerging artists

July 28, 2006

Maximum Technology International (MTI) is launching an online art gallery, Compello Art “Gallery of Galleries”. The Launch will take place in early Spring 2007 in London.

Students will be invited to add their works to the site pre launch to help gain exposure as soon as humanly possible. The invitation will be extended to them through their course tutors this August

The Gallery sponsored by The Saatchi Gallery London aims to provide an international medium for up and coming artists and photographers including students, to exhibit their work and provide them with the facility to sell to a worldwide customer base.

Compello Art will be launched to run alongside www.thestudentzone.com an established international student community site also run by MTI. The Saatchi Gallery (London), are supporting the Compello Art project in their quest to assist young artists and to further art education.

The gallery is designed as a forum for artists across social, international and artistic boundaries enabling them to display their work, which they would otherwise not have had the confidence or finance to exhibit. Students will have direct access to Compello Art through their University or College portal and will be able to exhibit their work in a uniquely competitive way, not only assisting with their student debt but also selling at a market rate rather than a student rate. Enabling entry into a very competitive market on a level playing field. This may also lead to commissions.

Compello Art has been developed by MTI who are an Internet and web development company with their own family of websites providing an established international audience of both buyers and sellers.

The exhibiters will be able to post their images together with a detailed profile. Buyers will be able to purchase on line through various processes including download and the more traditional secure postal delivery.

The Saatchi Gallery will make recommendations each month from the displayed images by artists and photographers. Those selected will be displayed in a recommendations page for the following month. This selection process we hope will be expanded to include other noted members of the art community. These will also be displayed on the Saatchi Gallery site www.saatchi-gallery.co.uk
